CLASS OF 2020: Graduate raises the bar for a career in the legal profession
A Royal Navy Reservist has raised the bar on her career aspirations by completing a Law degree in the University of Wolverhampton School of Law.
Sharon Nelson, 50 from Wolverhampton, has set her sights on working in Criminal Law and is paving the way for her legal career after graduating in 2020.
She said: "The Law degree is a good, solid, really interesting qualification to complete and is very favourable on a CV when applying for work.
"The University of Wolverhampton Law School is excellent and staff provide a very professional, welcoming and friendly place to study.
"All staff are superior in there professional skills and the delivery of lectures and seminars are excellent - clear, precise and easy to understand. which really helped my prudential learning capacity.
"The support from the staff was tremendous and they really put the students' needs first. I enjoyed the course so much that I continued to study and I'm now enrolled on the Law Legal Practice Course which prepares you further for a career in the legal profession.
"For myself, gaining a degree is such a great achievement, l feel more happier, secure and confident in life."
Class of 2020 graduate successes will be celebrated on the University’s Alumni Facebook page as well as their Instagram and Twitter channels. Graduates are invited to share photos, thank you messages and memories of their time at the University of Wolverhampton.
