WLV Sport Charity Golf Day

Welcome to our first WLV Sport Charity Golf Day!

We would like to invite you along to join us for a great day of entertainment at Walsall Golf Club on Wednesday 11th September 2024. Enjoy a break away from the office, an opportunity to network with local businesses, or simply an opportunity to get out on the greens with friends. 

We will start the day in the clubhouse for breakfast sandwiches, a hot drink and a chance to socialise with your team before heading out on a beautiful golf course for 18 holes. 

 

What's included in the WLV Sport Charity Golf Day:

  • Welcome breakfast sandwich and a hot drink
  • 18 holes 
  • Two-course meal

Here are some essential details:

  • Entry for a team of four is £240
  • Individual entries £60 per person
  • All purchases are final; tickets are non-refundable
  • Alongside your 18 holes of golf, we will be hosting additional prize competitions throughout the day including nearest the pin and longest drive
  • Shotgun start and Stableford scoring
  • After your round on the course, everyone will join us in the club house for a two-course meal, raffle and prize presentation. 

 

Acorns Children's Hospice and Student Minds

All the profits from the event will be donated equally to Acorns Children's Hospice and Student minds. 

  • Acorns Children's Hospice - Offer a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support for local children and their families. 
  • Student Mind's - UK's Largest student mental health charity. They empower students to build their own toolkit to support themselves and their peers through university life and beyond.

Formed in 1907, The Walsall Golf Club is the hidden gem in the heart of the West Midlands located a short distance from the Midlands motorways link, the ideal venue for your society or Captain’s away day.


The 18 hole course has an abundance of sand traps, with each and every green requiring a precise second shot. The layout is little changed from Dr MacKenzie's original design but a careful programme of tree planting over the last fifty years means that every fairway is tree lined calling for greater accuracy from the tee than most courses.
