Simran Nandra

"During the four years I have had at University I have worked closely with the Student Union. I have worked on local stories and ended my portfolio, interviewing the Vice Chancellor of University of Wolverhampton, which was such an amazing experience. The reason why I chose this degree is because of my hope to be a presenter one day for a radio station. This course has allowed me to gain that experience for me to fulfil this role."

Radio holds academic significance for me. It's a space where I can put my knowledge to use and dive into the details of broadcasting. Hosting radio shows lets me delve into media production, engaging with the audience, and creating content. The educational aspect of radio goes beyond just the technical side; it gives me a hands-on way to apply what I learn in a real-world context. Throughout my four-year course, I've experienced personal and journalistic growth, which is evident in my portfolio.
