Background
The network was formally launched in 2016 at a symposium held at the University of Wolverhampton.
It has been established through grants from the then Oxford United Chairman and now Solihull Moors Chairman, Darryl Eales and the University of Wolverhampton.
The National Football Museum based in Manchester along with Soccer History and Back Pass (retro football publications) have also added their support to the project.
We are based at the Centre for Historical Research, University of Wolverhampton.
