Knowledge development for communities and practitioners

Knowledge development in this cluster aims to embrace and develop best practice with  communities and for practice development.  People-led knowledge development involves everyday people and patients to collect different forms of data.  Practice development focuses on advancing practitioner development and the care they provide.  Both these areas of research use informed evidence-based strategies to advance knowledge in these areas.

Cluster areas include:

  • People led engagement with communities who experience health disparities.
  • Evidence informed approaches to solve health and social care challenges.
  • Applied Intellectual Disability Practice Developments.
  • Evidenced-based practice development for all groups of health care professionals.
  • Patient-reported experience/outcome measures.
