The competition received 750 entrants and 71 have been chosen for the exhibition at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
Senior Lecturer, Peter Day, said: “I think what Justyna and Natalie have achieved is fantastic, especially as they are both first year students. They are appearing alongside some established artists in this high profile show, and I would like to congratulate them on their success.”
Prizes will be awarded on Saturday (July 5) for the best overall work, and the best painting, 3-dimensional work, work on paper, photograph, and time-based work. The exhibition is organised by Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and Wolverhampton Art Gallery and runs until Friday, 5 September 2008.
