Choose To Teach

Our staff will be on hand to talk you through what qualifications can be accepted and the application process - Get careers advice about where teaching can take you.

Choose to Teach offers a brilliant opportunity for you to meet university staff, students and find out more about our courses and get one-to-one advice about your journey to becoming a teacher!  On the evening we will offer the option for you to join break sessions to find more information on your career in Early Years Teacher Training (EYITT) Primary, Secondary or Post Compulsory Teacher Training.

Programme (subject to change)

5.00 pm - 5.15 pm - Introduction- Why choose to teach?

5.15 pm - Break out session 1 - You will be asked to choose a session to attend from the following

- EYITT

- Primary Teaching

- Secondary Teaching

- Post Compulsory Education

5.45 pm - Break out session 2 - These sessions are repeated.  You will be given the option to choose another session to attend or leave the event. 

- EYITT

 - Primary Teaching

 - Secondary Teaching

 - Post Compulsory Education

6.15 pm - Close
