What is Copilot Chat?
Copilot Chat works in a similar way to other AI companions like ChatGPT and Gemini, and staff and students have access to it using your University Microsoft 365 account.
You can find Copilot in your Edge browser and once signed in, you will notice the 'shield' icon, that tells you that your personal and institutional data is protected and is temporarily housed within Copilot Chat. This does mean you need to remember to extract any data you need to use outside of the Copilot Chat window. If using a Windows 11 PC (student and teaching PCs), Copilot Chat is available within the Windows menu aswell.
You can also sign into Copilot Chat using your University credentials at https://copilot.microsoft.com
