Introduction to AI (History, Key Concepts, Applications) - Explore the evolution of AI and its transformative impact on various industries.

Machine Learning Basics (Supervised vs. Unsupervised Learning) - Hands-on session to understand the fundamentals of machine learning algorithms.

Wednesday

All Day: National Day Trip – Cambridge: Explore the beautiful city of Cambridge with a punting trip down the River Cam

 

Thursday

Deep Learning & Neural Networks (Fundamentals, Architectures) - Hands-on session to delve into the complexities of neural networks.

AI in Industry (Case Studies & Applications) - Learn how AI is being applied in real-world scenarios through case studies.

Friday

Generative AI & Large Language Models (Introduction, Ethical Concerns) - Hands-on session to understand the capabilities and ethical considerations of generative AI.

Local Afternoon Trip – Enjoy an afternoon in the beautiful medieval town  of Shrewsbury, home to Charles Darwin

Reflection, Free and Easy day in your free time


OR travel independently 2 hours to London to explore the sights

Cybersecurity Fundamentals (CIA Triad, Attack Vectors) - Gain a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices.

Professional Communications - Continue to enhance your communication skills

Tuesday

Network Security & Cryptography (Encryption, VPNs, Firewalls) - Hands-on session to learn about securing networks and data.

Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing (Reconnaissance, Scanning, Social Engineering) - Hands-on session to practice ethical hacking techniques.

Wednesday

All Day: National Day Trip – Walking tour of Stratford upon Avon, home to William Shakespeare before visiting Warwick Castle, one of the UK’s finest castles

 

Thursday

Incident Response & Threat Intelligence (Detection & Mitigation) - Hands-on session to develop skills in identifying and responding to cyber threats.

AI in Cybersecurity (AI for Threat Analysis & Defence) - Discover how AI is revolutionizing cybersecurity.

Friday

End of Course Deliverable - Present your final project and demonstrate what you've learned.

Local Afternoon Trip - Celebrate the end of the course with a relaxing local trip to Bridgnorth with its beautiful views over the River Severn

Learning Outcomes:
