University Mental Health Day Arrow image button

#UniMentalHealthDay is an annual day to get the nation talking about student mental health and working together to make mental health a university-wide priority.

No matter who you are, you can take part in this day.

Join us on University Mental Health Day, Thursday 13 March

Uni Mental Health Day occurs annually, normally on the first Thursday of March. This year Uni Mental Health Day will take place on Thursday 13 March.

The aim of the day is to get the nation talking about student mental health and to make it everyone’s priority. The theme for this year is “Let's work together to ensure that no student is held back by their mental health.”

As a community of students and staff, with many of us being local to the University, we would like to be creative in managing our mental health and wellbeing.

We plan on having a mixture of activities as part of the event provided by internal and external services. We will also have an online offer with some workshops taking place so that those who cannot physically attend our campuses can still participate in the day.

We would like to invite you to share and help us create a better place for us all. Enabling our University community to see what is out there and what they can access of way of support. There is also the possibility within our rich and vibrant community that there will be things that we can offer to others both part of our university community and beyond it. By coming together and talking about mental health and leaving no one behind, we can reduce stigma and create an environment of learning and addressing the challenges of mental health.
