The Chaplaincy is leading a number of Christmas focused events this year including traditional favourites like the Carol Service as well as new collaborations.

The Carols Service takes place on Thursday 12 December, at 2pm in St. Peter's Church, Wolverhampton.

Evening event celebrating Global Christmas traditions

One of the Christmas celebration collaboration events takes place Thursday 5 December in the Students' Union, between 4pm and 8pm, for an evening of Christmas themed activity reflecting the different cultural traditions around the celebration.

Students and staff are invited to book a table at the event to share a craft idea, a display about Christmas traditions or something else that will help draw attention to varied ways of celebrating Advent, St. Nicholas, St Lucy, Epiphany - any traditions that are part of the fullness of Christmas around the world.

There will be music, recitals, poems and food. and even a brass band from 7pm.

Let us know if you have an idea for a stall or an activity. Students are able to apply for a payment of £25 to support their activity or display. Please help us celebrate a Global Christmas by emailing chaplaincy@wlv.ac.uk.

Full Christmas details will be on Chaplaincy webpage soon.
