About the event
The first 'Enabling Small and Medium Enterprises through Diversity and Inclusion' event will examine how SMEs can provide suitable and welcoming workplace environments for disabled people through inclusive digitalisation. This event will share and discuss the findings of the project ‘Manufacturing a better world’, which has been investigating inclusive digitalisation by exploring both first-hand accounts of disabled people’s use of digital technology in manufacturing and experts' views. Many SMEs face skills gaps and challenges in attracting and retaining talent, and this session will provide advice on how businesses can diversify their workforce and attract new talent into manufacturing.
