Graduation Ceremonies

Graduation is a prestigious and special occasion at the University of Wolverhampton, and it is a time for us to celebrate the achievements of our students with their families, friends and lecturers.

Students will receive communications about graduation via their preferred email address and should ensure that they keep their email address on their e:Vision account up to date so as not to miss any important information regarding graduation.

All graduation ceremonies are streamed live and you may view them here.

Students may request their certificates in advance of the ceremony by visiting the graduation page on their e:Vision account or by visiting estore.

Upon graduating, all graduates become alumni and lifelong free members of the University's Alumni Association. To ensure you are informed about career opportunities, discounts, events and much more, please update your details with the alumni association below.

Class of 2024 Graduands

Graduation ceremonies will take place at The Halls, Wolverhampton from Wednesday 4th September - Friday 13th September for all students who have been conferred with an award up to and including 12th August 2024 and for students who were not able to attend the events in March 2024 and have chosen to attend a future ceremony.

If you have recently been completed with your award you can request your certificate via the graduation page on e:Vision where you can also access transcripts and other verification documents to allow you to apply for jobs or further study.

How to Apply

Visa Invitation Letters

Once students have accepted their graduation invitation they will be able to request visa invitation letters for themselves and their guests.

All graduates must wear smart attire to their ceremony.  Graduates not wearing the correct academic gown will not be presented for their award. Gowns should be ordered from the official gowning supplier.

Please use the University's Official Appointed Graduation Photography Service

The University has appointed Tempest Photography as its official Graduation Photography service. Please be aware that other photographers may approach you. They may even try to persuade you that they are official. They are not. Should any other supplier approach you offering photography services, please understand that they do so without the approval, authorisation or consent of your University and and the standards of the service they offer cannot be assured. Any commission the University obtains through its contract with Tempest Photography is re-invested into enhancing the student experience. If you choose to take up their alternative service, you risk using a supplier with;

  • no permission to use the University crest
  • No foil-blocking on mounts
  • Limited product range
  • Poor after-sales service
