During this two-year programme working towards the Master’s in Medical Education, you will cover a wide range of medical education topics and assessment methods.
In Year One, you will study six taught modules following the same pattern and module structure, with each module taught in a six-week block. Following this, Year Two will provide the opportunity to hone your critical research skills during the professional project.
Learning takes place in tutor groups of 10-20 students. You will log into the Academic Forum daily to participate in weekly questions, interact with the tutor and fellow students, follow discussion threads, and complete a range of assignments.
The structure of our medical education courses promotes lifelong learning, critical appraisal, reflection and advanced problem-solving skills; highly sought-after competencies that can be cultivated and evaluated through the carefully considered assessment process of this Master’s programme.
