Teachers and Advisers Summer Conference - Friday 27th June 2025

Calling all UK based Teachers' and Advisers'. We are delighted to invite you to our annual summer conference, set to take place in June at our Wolverhampton Campus. This event is designed to equip teachers, career advisers, and pastoral staff with the latest updates and practical tools to better support your students.

We are excited to announce our confirmed Keynote Speakers:

  • Ahmar Eshan, Funding Information Services Account Manager, Student Loans Company - Stuart Clarkson is a seasoned His Majesty’s Inspector with Ofsted, working across the West Midlands to support school improvement and excellence in education. At this year’s Teacher and Advisor Conference, Stuart will explore Ofsted’s review of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) in schools, drawing on findings from the published paper and reflecting on how CEIAG is currently evaluated through inspection. His session will offer valuable insights for educators and advisors supporting young people on their pathways to further education and employment.
  • Stuart Clarkson, His Majesty’s Inspector (Schools), West Midlands Region - Hear from Student Finance England who will provide updates on student finance for the upcoming academic year, key information on tuition fees, maintenance loans, and repayment plans.  Common misconceptions and FAQs from students, parents, and advisors, and any upcoming changes

Also look out for Vice Chancellor’s insights on the new Black Country Medical School, Estates masterplan and our 2035 Strategy and a fantastic (optional) opportunity to join SciFest - our annual Science festival which allows you the opportunity to speak directly with Academic staff across our course portfolio between 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Teacher CPD

CPD for Mathematics and Computer Science Teachers - Thursday 3rd July 2025, 10am-2:30pm

This is a one day professional development course designed to support the development of teaching skills and subject knowledge of teachers who would like to improve their competency in teaching calculus using the Python programming language. The workshops will include contextualized examples which can be delivered in your own classroom. No previous Python programming experience is required.
