We will be offering a range of subject-specific on-campus Discovery Days during the academic year. We look forward to seeing you at our events. 

Below are our Discovery Days for the 2024/25 academic year. These are broken down by our faculty areas. To book a group of your students to attend the day or if individual students wish to book please complete this booking form with the details and a member of the team will confirm your place. 

All of our Discovery Days meet Gatsby Benchmarks 4 and 7.

Business Discovery Day
Join the University of Wolverhampton Business School at City Campus for a day full of enriching activity, which is perfect for Year 12 and 13 students interested in careers in business. Students will have the opportunity to book onto three separate sessions across the course of the day in either Finance, Accounting and Economics; Business, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability; or Human Resources Management, Hospitality and Marketing. They will also get the chance to tour the University and experience a session taught inside the Molineux Football Stadium.

English Language and Linguistics Discovery Day
Come and join us in the School of Social Science and Humanities to explore English Language and Linguistics. We’ll have activities based on these core subjects, discuss how we acquire language, how to teach English and what applications each subject has.

Are you a filmmaker, budding director, cinematographer. writer, editor or simply a lover of films?
Come and join our industry expert staff in the Wolverhampton Screen School to discover what being a film student and filmmaker is all about.

The University of Wolverhampton is running an early childhood, young people and special educational needs leadership day covering 4 different workshops. The workshops are suitable for students in years 11, 12 and 13 who have an interest in a future career in making a difference and working with babies, children, young people and their families in a range of community-based contexts.

Architecture and Built Environment Discovery Day

Are you a budding architect, or civil engineer? Or feel your students could be? Visit us at our 
Springfield Campus to discover the next steps into these careers. You and/or your students will gain 
insight into what we can offer at the University of Wolverhampton.
The day will include fantastic demonstrations of how technology can be used to innovate 
architectural design and working, with students being given the opportunity to use the equipment 
themselves. Additionally hear from our renowned staff on exciting topics such as “Structures to 
Destruction” and learn about demolition from an entirely new perspective.
