Below are our Discovery Days for the 2023/24 academic year. These are broken down by our faculty areas. To book a group of your students to attend the day or if individual students wish to book please complete this booking form with the details and a member of the team will confirm your place.

Students will sit in several sessions from a variety of different subjects, including Criminology, Policing and Forensics, and English. Suitable for Year 12 students.

English Language, Linguistics & TESOL

Come and join us in the School of Social Science and Humanities to explore English Language, Linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. We’ll have activities based on these core subjects, discuss how we acquire language, how to teach English and what applications each subject has.

At this event students will have the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, speaking to both staff and students. Students will have the opportunity to take part in various workshops where they will develop their understanding of the benefits of university and possible career opportunities after their studies.  Specific taster session delivered to discover our 4 key course areas (BA Hons Early Childhood Studies, BA Hons Education Studies, BA Hons Education, Childhood and Youth and Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion).

Architecture and Built Environment Discovery Day

Are you a budding architect, or civil engineer? Or feel your students could be? Visit us at our 
Springfield Campus to discover the next steps into these careers. You and/or your students will gain 
insight into what we can offer at the University of Wolverhampton.
The day will include fantastic demonstrations of how technology can be used to innovate 
architectural design and working, with students being given the opportunity to use the equipment 
themselves. Additionally hear from our renowned staff on exciting topics such as “Structures to 
Destruction” and learn about demolition from an entirely new perspective.
