Alternative Offers

If you have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Wolverhampton and are unsuccessful in gaining a place, we will always endeavour to make you an alternative offer for another suitable course.

HOW WE SELECT YOUR ALTERNATIVE OFFER

The University assesses each applicant on an individual basis. When making an alternative offer, we select a course that we believe will be relevant and of interest to you. This decision is based on several factors such as the content of your personal statement; the subjects you have studied; the qualifications you have achieved; and any work experience that you have gained.

You can find out more about the course you have been given as an alternative offer via our University course webpages and by attending an Applicant Day event, Open Day or Postgraduate Open Evening, or any other upcoming Applicant Events.

HELP AND SUPPORT WITH YOUR ALTERNATIVE OFFER

We understand that receiving an alternative offer can be disappointing and confusing, our Conversion Team will therefore ensure that we contact you for a phone call conversation to discuss your options and answer any questions you have about your new course offer.

CHANGING YOUR ALTERNATIVE OFFER

While we try to choose an appropriate alternative offer course that we believe you will enjoy, we understand that we may not always get this right! Should you feel the alternative course we have chosen is not right for you, you will already be contacted by the Conversion team who will talk this through with you, or you can contact our admissions department by logging a helpdesk call on your e:Vision account (www.wlv.ac.uk/evision) stating your full name, student number, and the course you would like to be considered for.

PLEASE NOTE you will not be able to be considered for the course you originally applied for and will need to apply again next year.
