Sounds of Wolverhampton playlist

Alumni musician and rap artist Nate Ethan Watson has pulled together an eclectic mix of music from Wolverhampton and the wider Black Country region, featuring some of his original tracks and works by other artists he admires. 

Nate graduated with a first-class degree in Public Health from the University of Wolverhampton in 2019. His time here gave him the confidence to continue writing his own music, leading to the release of his second single, which is included in the playlist. 

Recently, Nate collaborated with the university on an original spoken word piece and music track reflecting his university experience and transition. In 2022, Nate received the Positive Role Model Award for LGBT at the National Diversity Awards, in recognition for his organisation TNB Connect, which he founded to support the transgender and non-binary community.
