Experience the University of Opportunities where impossible is zilch. The Uni to me is simply that place where numerous opportunities are provided for the possibility of being that person you have always dreamed and aspired to be, and more.

Coming to a place like the University of Wolverhampton for my second degree education, after a period of close to a decade since my first degree, was something of a challenge back then, of which today in retrospect I consider that experience one of my best. The different study, learning system and environment for me meant that I was always asking questions in class not always because I didn’t know the answers to some of those questions half of the time but simply because I so much enjoyed the dedication each of my lecturers took to answering all questions I put to them. My job as a lecturer assistant upon graduation couldn’t have crowned my numerous experiences more, because I got to work under some of the best lecturers I know, learning from their vast wealth of experience and at the same time contributing in my own little way to be positive sharping of the lives of some of our students, not to mention the very numerous friends I made in Wolverhampton, of which I am still in touch with more than 80% of them to this day.
As a person in the technology industry, it would be an error not to appreciate what my course has done to my career. The course built my research skills to a level that within my mind I now look toward challenges with a single knowledge that no matter how hard the challenge might be that a well-structured research leads to positive solution. Today as a technologist my course has equipped me to be not only a good team leader, but one who understands the concept of design and manufacturing, situation evaluation, analysis and interpretation, problem resolution and technology management.
Key Responsibilities in my position are; * Staff Management * Carry out client organisational technology need analysis and engineering of innovative technological tools for company development and improvement * Carry out all information communication technology duties and functions for clients * Research and Analysis * Designing and conducting studies to either understanding current problems and solving them * Interpreting and evaluating situations * Total Quality Management, and * Technology Management and Consultancy
My career highlights to date includes working for private and corporate organisations as a management staff and consultant, and working as a Personal Assistant to a Director General of a Nigerian Federal Government Agency, amongst others. In addition to these, my position as the Quality Management Consultant of Arc Da Vinci; a foremost architectural firm in Abuja, and appointment as the Chief Technologist and Technology Consultant for Prime Juris; a legal practitioner and consulting firm which branches around Nigeria. As unrelated as it may seem, I'd like to highlight my appointment and membership of the University of Wolverhampton Alumni Advisory Board and my current position as the Ambassador of the University of Wolverhampton Alumni Association Nigeria. In summary, I like to consider myself a hands-on manager with knowledge of a combination of diverse disciplines in the development and management of new sustainable technologies in solving humanities problems. A creative problem solver with ability to drive growth, meet deadlines, resolve conflicts, improve morale and quest to exceed set goals.
Nothing can come close to studying in an environment where the acquisition of knowledge comes through mutual respect and understanding. To any potential student I would say put an end to that lengthy consideration and proceed to where a conducive atmosphere exists for studying and positive shaping of your future, as you will not only be welcomed by the best academic staff but the best studying environment with modern amenities and equipment for a progressive career. The University of Wolverhampton's numerous post study programs and alumni networks means that an alumnus would continue to receive support long after leaving the institution.
