Sherin is passionate about education, knowledge and development.  At the university she has engaged in many projects and pastoral student support initiatives.  Other projects concerning skills, employment, curriculum/course development.    Currently she is a Faculty Enabling Tutor (FET) dedicated to ensuring access to the tools and expertise available to students to enable a successful path for all undergraduates and postgraduates.

Sherin has over 20 years’ experience teaching in HE specialising in Database Systems.   Having moved to the university following a spell as a Technical Trainer at Oracle Corporation UK offices, Reading.   Prior to this Sherin undertook extensive training and education in Data Communications, mobile systems field and has subsequently worked in Applications Development Teams and Network Development Teams at a  mobile communications provider based in Hertfordshire, UK.  Her early career consisted study of traditional sciences and computer science at undergraduate level.
