Sarah Rhodes is an experienced educator dedicated to delivering quality, inclusive and accessible provision for all stages with a post 16 education and lifelong learning specialism. She has worked extensively in learning support and specific educational needs for more than a decade and has a passion for diversity and inclusion, drawing upon her experience as a secondary, further and higher education teacher to influence her approaches to person centred learning. In her role as Disability Services Manager at the University of Wolverhampton, she led on the development of specialist staff contracts and development, considerate marking scheme and the inclusivity and accessibility of the student portal and assistive technology for the AccessApps strand of the Digital Transformation programme. In her most recent role, Sarah teaches aspects of SEND/inclusion on Early Years, Primary and Post Compulsory study programmes, is Module Lead for the Inclusive Curriculum by Design module on the PG Cert Academic Practice course, KUDOS mentor and reviewer and member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship and Research Group.
