Megan is currently Programme Lead for the Social care, health and wellbeing undergraduate programme and Senior lecturer in Social Care & Social Work at Wolverhampton University. Working with students from level 4 up to postgraduate level. Megan has worked within a variety of organisations within the Health and Social care sector for the past 11 years. Completing job roles such as an IAPT advisor for Worcestershire NHS, public health advisor for Shropshire council and NHS and a non clinical prescriber and Care coordinator. She has a vast interest in women's health and wellbeing as well as the quality of care within industry. She has a passion for learning, supporting and developing other individuals who wish to work within the sector. 

Previously completing a BSc in Health and Social Care in 2016, and an MSc in Public Health in 2018. Megan is now currently undertaking a postgraduate research PhD in Women's health and wellbeing. The research focus of the experiences of female student's undergoing interventions within academia who have gynaecological health problems and improve national knowledge and awareness of women's health.

Mental health employment advisor within Worcestershire NHS. Developing and maintaining the integration of mental health treatment and employment support by establishing effective liaison of IAPT employment support services and other health and social care services.

Community links social prescriber. Providing non clinical assessment of care and support of individual needs. Reviewing the progress that people make using goal setting and targets whilst reviewing WEMWBS score. Enabling behavioural change through health coaching and motivational interviewing.

Healthcare support worker & Care coordinator. Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new care packages. Working closely with hospital discharge teams. Preparation of reports required by social services and CQC reviews. 

Help2change Public health advisor Shropshire council & Shropshire NHS trust. Primary care networking, creating opportunity, assessment and life couching using CBT and BCT. Following NICE clinical guidelines.
