In my Student Advisor role for the faculty of Education Health and Well-being my role consists of:

1. Contributing to initiatives for student retention, progression and achievement, including oversight of attendance monitoring and associated activities
2. The effective day to day support and enhancement of the student experience for all students in the Faculty (UK and overseas) to improve NSS and PTES results

3. Provide standard and non-standard advice and make referrals to specialist services as appropriate

1. Managing processes and support for students with special needs including completion of appropriate risk assessments and PEEPS
2. Contributing to planning, organisation and implementation of key student facing activities including Welcome Week, Induction and other retention and progression activities
3. Preparation and delivery of regular reports and feedback on student retention activities and progress to the Faculty Management Team
4. Support and monitor the personal tutor system within the Faculty

8. Supervising the work of Graduate Interns to ensure accurate student attendance monitoring and follow-on activities
9. Compliance with University procedures and regulations, in line with the needs of individual students

1. Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records on e:vision,  producing reports as required
