S.T.a.R Office Research Programmes Administration

To enhance the support provided to research students a new office was created  with a dedicated research administration team.

Who do we support

The Research Students

The S.T.a.R office provides advice, guidance and administration support for admissions, enrolment, graduation, supervisory requirements, tuition fees, studentships, leave of absences, student engagement monitoring, general student record maintenance and co-ordinates key research assessment points throughout the year.

We also specialise in advice and support for doctorate examinations such as MPhil, PhD, Higher Doctorates (DSc), Counselling Psychology (DCounsPsych), Doctorates in Education (EdD) and Doctorates in Health (DHW).

Faculties/Research Institutes

We provide Faculties/Research Institutes with advice and support for admissions requirements, research regulations & code of practise, key research assessment points, research committee servicing, approval of examinations and awards and monitoring.

Service Departments

Support is also provided to our service departments such as Finance, the Research Hub, Learning Information Services (LIS), Careers, Student Centres, International Centre and the Enabling Centre.
