The Library and Skills for Learning are here to help you through the assessment period. We recognise that there are several deadlines coming up, and you may be anxious to improve your submissions. Here's a reminder of all the support available to you from the Library:

  • Academic skills workshops run from Monday to Saturday and are friendly online sessions delivered by our Skills for Learning team. There is a wide range of workshops for you to explore including some great sessions to help you prepare for completing your assignments, e.g. Introduction to Academic Writing, Finding Academic Information and Harvard Referencing. Find out more here: www.wlv.ac.uk/lib/skills-for-learning/skills-workshops-sessions/
  • Drop-ins also run from Monday to Friday. Here you can have a short chat and discuss ways to improve your writing, referencing or other academic skills. See here for details: wlv.ac.uk/lib/skills-for-learning/one-to-one-support/
  • Struggling to plan your time? We'd recommend speaking with us about putting together a study schedule. You can do this at the drop-in, or via email at skills@wlv.libanswers.com
  • Prefer to learn at your own pace? We have a great collection of online support resources, FAQs, study guides, and shorter video tutorials if you'd prefer to learn at your own pace.
  • Finally, head over to our Library Exam and Assessment Support pages for guidance and advice to help you through the upcoming assessment period.
  • We’ll also have some free teas and coffees in the libraries throughout the week commencing 18th March!
