Library Exam and Assessment Support

As we journey past the halfway mark of the semester, assessments and exams are getting ever closer. Do not panic, though! The library is here with a helping hand to ensure you're well-prepared for success during this assessment period.

Skills for Exams

The Skills for Learning team is here to assist you with valuable support and advice on time management. We provide resources such as video tutorials and study guides. Additionally, we are hosting frequent Bitesize Exam preparation workshops. These offerings complement our standard academic skills support, which you can access through regular drop-ins and workshops

Extended Opening

This will be the period when you are going to be working hard to meet numerous deadlines which is why the library is offering extended opening hours to give you more options when you study.

Harrison Library will have 24/7 opening leading up to assessment week and Walsall Campus Library will be opening for longer at the weekends. Also, whilst many services will close throughout the festive period, we will continue to offer access to the library study spaces on a limited basis over Christmas.

Healthy study advice and resources

We've got a wealth of tips to help you optimize your study environment, whether you're revising on campus or at home. These include suggestions for finding the perfect space for you and practical tips on self-care during stressful and challenging periods.

And finally, throughout the January assessment weeks, you will be able to grab a tea or a coffee on us, so that is one less thing for you to worry about!
