Graduation recap - transforming lives!

21/03/2024

This week we all celebrated with our Class of 2023 graduands as they took to the stage for the first time in a new venue - the University of Wolverhampton at The Halls.

Dan Kidd, Director Registry Services, said: "A new venue, a new way of doing things, the same old brilliance from staff supporting our graduation ceremonies.

"Overcoming some challenges of using a new venue, we successfully delivered 5 ceremonies with graduates and their guests seemingly having a fantastic and memorable experience – it would not have been possible without the hard and skilful work of those delivering and supporting them.

"It is our view that the new venue helped to make the ceremonies feel even more of a spectacle (both inside and out) and offers us an excellent foundation for further improving the experience into the future."

As the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebrahim Adia said in his update this week:

"Graduation is always a memorable occasion and we should all be proud of the many lives we have transformed through our efforts over the years."

After graduation, graduates become members of the Alumni Association and are encouraged to keep in touch, to take advantage of a wide range of benefits and support on offer, including a discount for postgraduate study.

The students have joined a community of over 145,000 graduates in 130 countries across the world, becoming part of the University’s global alumni network.
