Experts will be on hand to explain the new student finance system and offer advice about a range of courses on Saturday, 26 November 2011.

The Open Day will be held at the Wolverhampton and Walsall Campuses from 10am until 3pm.

There will be opportunities to tour the campuses, meet prospective lecturers and visit the student accommodation.

Experts will be giving talks on the new student finance system and there will be subject specific workshops and presentations throughout the day.

Danielle Spittle, Education Events Manager, said: “Our Open Days are a great opportunity to have a look around, meet lecturers and chat to current students about what university is really like.

“The finance talks are an excellent way to hear the facts about tuition fees and funding, and our experts are happy to talk through the different study options available, whether you are interested in full-time or part-time study.”

Both Wolverhampton City and Walsall Campuses will be open and a regular shuttle bus operating between the two sites.

At Wolverhampton City Campus there will be information about applied sciences, art & design, business, computing & IT, drama, engineering & the built environment, health and nursing, law, social sciences and communications.

Meanwhile, visitors to Walsall Campus can find out about sport, music, dance, leisure and lifestyle industries, midwifery, nursing, teaching and education.

The next University of Wolverhampton Open Day will take place on 3 March 2012.
