Find out about a career in forensics

01/11/2010

The ‘Education, Employability and Engagement day’, will take place on Sunday, 5 December 2010 from 10am to 4pm at the University’s City campus.

Students looking to boost their career prospects can seek expert advice and there will be a range of courses and career openings available to graduates. The event could also be useful for Forensic scientists looking to gain knowledge in other areas of the field.

Dr Raul Sutton, Head of Forensic and Molecular Science Department of University of Wolverhampton, said: “At Wolverhampton, we are doing what we can to help graduates get the job of their choice. Students will have access to a wide range of employers and postgraduate opportunities. They will also have the chance to have their CVs checked and to discuss their career plans. Experienced professionals from the forensic community will be present to offer advice. Some employers are using this day to actively recruit into their companies. ”

The fair is free to members of the Forensic Science Society. Non-members who want to come along can join the society by enrolling online at www.forensic-science-society.org.uk or by contacting the office on 01423 506068.
