First Travel Operation Management book published

The book by members of staff from the University’s Leisure Industries department is based on their involvement in the design and development of the national Foundation Degree in Travel Operations Management. The textbook blends theory with practical applications and real world case studies together with review questions.

‘Operations Management in the Travel Industry’ is edited by Senior Lecturer, Peter Robinson, and chapters include Operations Management, Business Planning and Strategy, Sustainability for Travel Management and Marketing.

Peter Robinson, from the , said: "The development of this book is a fantastic achievement for the Leisure Industries department at the University of Wolverhampton and sets the scene for a further three books over the next three years, and many of the teaching team at Wolverhampton will again be contributing to those publications.”
