Uni Open Day welcomes visitors

Visitors to the event will find out about the best courses for them and all about how to apply to University. The Open Day is taking place at both the Wolverhampton and Walsall campuses of the University and visitors can look around the facilities, meet prospective lecturers and tour the campuses between 10am until 4pm.
 
There will also be an opportunity to see student accommodation and talk to the experts on money, study and careers at the Open Day.
 
Open Day coordinator, Katy Guest, said: “We are delighted to be hosting the Open Day on Saturday, 8 November 2008 to give people an opportunity to find out about how to apply to University and all about the courses and opportunities we offer.
 
“Visit Walsall if you are particularly interested in sport, music, dance, leisure and lifestyle, education, teaching, nursing and midwifery and City Campus if you are interested in any of our other subjects. Nursingis represented on both City and Walsall so visit the campus nearest to you.”
 
People should book online to ensure fast track entry on the day – visit www.wlv.ac.uk/opendays.  A full programme of events is available on the University’s website to help people plan their day and not miss any relevant presentations.
 
There will also be a regular free shuttle bus service between the two campuses so people can be sure of finding out about all the subjects they’re interested in.
