The School of Education, based at the Walsall Campus, will host the events. There will be information about the Foundation Degree in Early Years Services, which is aimed at people who work within early years services, such as a Children’s Centre or as a childminder.

Visitors can also find out about a Foundation Degree in Supporting Inclusive Practice, which is suitable for people already working in an educational support role in a primary, secondary, or special school, or in a further education environment.

The first open evening will be in the WN building on Tuesday, May 6 2008, with events to follow on Wednesday, June 4 and Monday, June 23. All will be from 5pm-6.30pm.

Dilly Lidder, Marketing and Recruitment Officer for the School of Education, said: “Visitors will have the opportunity to speak to subject leaders about studying a Foundation Degree. People who study these degrees go into a variety of careers which will be talked about on the day.”
